This website, www.thecommunityguide.org, is the official site of the Guide to Community Preventive Services (Community Guide) and is a valuable resource to what is known about the effectiveness, economic efficiency, and feasibility of interventions to promote community health and prevent disease. The rigorous systematic reviews and Community Preventive Services Task Force (Task Force) recommendations that are the hallmarks of the Community Guide are designed to make current scientific evidence accessible to local decision makers who must select appropriate health interventions with and for their communities.
