Spotlight: Jonathan E. Fielding, MD, MPH, MBA
Summary: Dr. Jonathan Fielding served on the Community Preventive Services Task Force from 1996 to 2019 and as chair from 2001-2019. He was also a founding member of the U.S. Clinical Preventive Services Task Force. When this was recorded, Dr. Fielding worked as a distinguished professor of health policy and management and pediatrics, in the Fielding School of Public Health and the Geffen School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles and served on the Board of Directors of the American Legacy Foundation. In this audio clip he talks with CDC’s Dr. John Anderton about his experiences and the future public health endeavors of the CPSTF.
