New Publications Related to The Community Guide
Two articles featuring information about The Community Guide are now available online:
Sources of Support for Studies that Inform Recommendations of the Community Preventive Services Task Force (Public Health Reports) examines sources of financial, material, or intellectual support for publications included in Community Guide systematic reviews during a 9-year period.
Use and Awareness of The Community Guide in State and Local Health Department Chronic Disease Programs (Preventing Chronic Disease) analyzes data from three surveys of employees in chronic disease programs at state and local health departments to learn more about their use of evidence-based interventions and The Community Guide.
A third article, published in the American Journal of Public Health, is available to subscribers. In Living Systematic Reviews and Other Approaches for Updating Evidence the authors describe a relatively new method for updating systematic reviews, referred to as a “living” systematic review.
